It is in Shanghai, \u00a0on the initiative of Mr WAN (Consul of the Barony of Shanghai) on April 20th<\/sup>, 2018, that the second chap\u00eetre was held at the restaurant “the Sun Chine” under the supervision of the Commandeur Jean-Pierre ARNAUD, \u00a0accompanied by the Commandeur Laurent CHAREYRE, representing the Grand Master Patrick GALANT.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Commander and former Senator Jean BESSON was also present at this ceremony which aroused great interest among friends of the Shanghai Commandery, very influential in wine distribution, sales, communication and events.<\/span><\/p>\n

During this “chap\u00eetre” of the Shangha\u00ef Commanderie, 5 new Knights were enthroned and the Ambassador plaque ceremony was celebrated.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new Knights are Mrs. Chengjie LU\/\u8def\u8bda\u6d01, and Mr. Lizhi XI\/\u8c22\u7acb\u6cbb, Kai WEN\/\u95fb\u51ef, Qing ZHU\/\u6731\u9752 and Nanping YU\/\u4f59\u5357\u5e73, consultant, entrepreneur, investor, teacher and executive in China.<\/span><\/p>\n

Commander Laurent CHAREYRE on behalf of the Commanderie presented the Commanderie Ambassador\u2019s plaque to the director of the hotel “SUN CHINE” and placed it on the right side of the entrance.<\/span><\/p>\n

A true friendly dinner followed the Chap\u00eetre, where the French wines, mostly from the C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne were tasted.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is an \u201cambassador\u201d ?<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u00a0Commanderie \u00a0has created the title of “Ambassador of the Commanderie of the Costes du Rh\u00f4ne\u201d in order to promote \u00a0wines from the Rh\u00f4ne Valley”.<\/span><\/p>\n

This honorary title aims to “distinguish\u201d \u00a0the professionals in the hotel and catering industry and more generally in the food\u00a0 trades, who in their activity promote, throughout the world, the wine of our appellation and thus of our \u201cterroir\u201d, of its traditions and culture.<\/span><\/p>\n

The title of Ambassador is accompanied by a prestigious plaque with the coat of arms of the Commanderie, affixed visibly on the facade of the establishment.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, the public can easily identify it.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ambassador is committed to the promotion of the Name to his clientele and to encourage them to discover the wines of the Appellation C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne \u00a0(AOC \u2013 IGP) .<\/span><\/p>\n

The wine list of the establishment must include a substantial number of wine references from the Rh\u00f4ne Valley.<\/span><\/p>\n

A cette occasion \u00a0trois nouveaux Commandeurs \u00a0ont \u00e9t\u00e9 adoub\u00e9s par le Grand ma\u00eetre Patrick Galant, accompagn\u00e9 des Commandeurs Jean-Pierre Arnaud et Laurent Chareyre. Il s\u2019agit Mme A.Shen et M. Y.Ong, le nouveau consul \u00e9tant M. Jun Wan. Le nouveau Consul M. Jun Wan est amateur de bon vin et homme d’affaires (immobilier, cha\u00eene de TV et organisateur du salon Luxexpo \u00e0 Shanghai). Yann ONG est un ancien \u00e9l\u00e8ve de l’Universit\u00e9 du Vin de Suze la Rousse, g\u00e9rant d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 “Allo France Wines” et Audrey Shen est directrice d’une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019import, organisatrice d’\u00e9v\u00e9nementiel autour du vin. <\/span>
